On 8 May 2008 the Clay County Sheriff's Office (Clay Co., FL) along with the help of the Ridgeview HS Drama Department, prepared a thoughtful and moving ceremony for Police Memorial Week 2008. They have done this for the past three years but this is the first year I have made any video of the event. Part of the ceremony has the high school students acting out scenarios in which an officer was killed in the line of duty. This part of the evening was when the names were read aloud of the officers that had been killed in the line of duty in 2007. After the reading of the names there was a re-enactment of a law enforcement funeral. The quality of this video is not as good as I hoped it would be but I hope it is good enough to make you think about our law enforcement officers and appreciate all the that they go through for the community they have sworn to protect. Please keep the men and women in all law enforcement agencies and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
